A Nude Evening at the Theater?

You've heard of theater performances in the nude, of course -- but what about a nude audience?

That's it, exactly: an idea whose time has come. High time, we say! Theater patrons are looking for value for their money these days -- aren't we all? -- and what could be more worth your attention than not to have to dress up for the theater?

And talking about value for money -- theater is expensive these days! I mean, my God, fifteen bucks? Fifteen bucks to sit in the dark in a stuffy small room and have some performance artist rant on and on to us about his childhood? Of course you'd want to be naked under circumstances like that. Of course you'd insist on seeing the performer's pen is -- a good, solid, straight-on frontal look, mind you, not just some brief glimpse of his admittedly gorgeous little butt -- just to compensate you for the inconvenience. I mean, really -- fifteen bucks! *

Recently, the nude guys in Palm Springs hosted such an event, which we attended. Check out our description.

Soon, the nude guys in San Diego -- the BBC, or Bare Buns of California -- will attend a similar event at the 6th @ Penn Theater. Scheduled for Sunday, April 26, at 3 PM, we'll be seeing a performance of The Masseur -- a play in which, we have been told, both of the actors appear nude. Should be an interesting afternoon! If you'd like to attend, advance reservations are required via Harvey; just call 619-538-2991. (The sooner the better, although if you're reading this sentence there are still tickets available. Eventually, you can also RSVP for this event via the BBC hotline at 619-239-NUDE.) The cost is $12 and includes a wine and cheese party.
