Thanks for considering adding your site to this
SiteRing! SiteRings help surfers go to sites which have been
hand-chosen to reflect a particular idea or sensibility. They
increase visibility for all of the sites on the ring,
resulting in more traffic for all.
This SiteRing is for sites which:
- Tickle Jim's fancy -- because they are clever,
well-designed, comprehensive, and/or funny.
- Feature penises -- preferably photographic,
but textual materials are also OK if penis-related.
- Are primarily noncommercial, and have few or
no advertisements. (However, memberships in the site itself
are OK.)
These are very subjective. Sorry if they seem
arbitrary -- they are! My goal is to assemble a group of
extraordinary sites which will keep surfers coming back again and
again.
NOTE: There is an unofficial rule allowing one site in
the ring per person. If you have a whole bunch of sites, all of
which are photos of the same kinds of things, please submit only
ONE of them. (You can, of course, link from one to another once
they get from the Penis SiteRing to your site!) The only exception
would be if your different sites concern completely different
topics and/or have a completely different look.
Contact Me
My name is Jim; I can be reached at
phdtop@phdtop.com.
Please use the word "Jim" in the subject or the body of
the message, so that it will be routed to the correct non-spam
mailbox and receive my prompt attention.
Submit Your Site
Fill out the Site
Submission Form to ask to have your site
added to the ring.
- Your submitted site is first added to a queue
of sites awaiting attention from me.
- I'll do my best to make a decision about each
site in one week or less.
- I'm the only person who can move sites from
the queue into the ring itself.
- I may edit your site description -- usually
just for spelling and a consistent style. If my changes do not
meet with your approval, please write me and we'll reach some sort
of agreement.
- IMPORTANT: You must add the web ring
HTML fragment (the Panel Code, below) to your site's main page!
Surfers usually expect to find it at the bottom of that page. The
SiteRing "bot" checks newly added sites to make sure the
appropriate code is there. If not, you will automatically be moved
back from the ring into the queue.
Here are the rest of the steps needed to join the ring:
- Look at the two versions of the navigation box below. Decide
whether you want the long version or the short version, and click
on the appropriate link.
- Copy the HTML code from the box on the page you move to. This
is called the Panel Code.
- Paste the Panel Code onto your webpage. Usually webmasters do
this at the bottom, or near the bottom, of the main index page (or
main entry point) to your site as a whole.
- Copy the image(s) (at the bottom of your chosen page) to your
site. Follow the instructions about where to put them on your
site.
- Edit the Panel Code in the following ways:
- Where you see [siteID], replace it with your
SiteID (it was emailed to you when you first signed up). There
are several places to do this.
- Where you see [put your email address here],
type in your email address -- such as
butch@butchdudes.com.
- Where you see [put your name here], type in
your name -- such as Butch.
- Where you see [put your website address
here], type in your website's URL -- such as
http://www.butchdudes.com.
- Where you see [put your website name here],
type in your website's name -- such as Butch's Big Butch
Battleground.
- Where you see usernum=4124283730 -- do not change
it!
- Make sure the links to the images (see below) are correct
to pull the images from your site.
- Save the changes to your site.
- You will not see your site in the ring until you have been
approved. You will be notified by email once you are
approved.
- If you have trouble, e-mail me at phdtop@phdtop.com.
Make sure that 'Jim' is in the Subject or the Body of the message
so that it gets sorted into the correct non-spam mailbox!
Otherwise I might miss it.
