It turns out that everyone had their own reasons for running in the Naked Mile. We didn't plan it that way, but it was cool nevertheless. More exactly, probably all three interviewees ran for several different reasons -- but each chose to emphasize one major one:

I like doing new things, and I think it's really exciting... It's just a cool, once in a lifetime kind of thing. |

My politics and my spirituality and my bisexuality all hook up... In my values, I see a theme of the erasure of lines of demarcation that restrict freedom and life energy... Clothes are often status markers in our society, and by erasing status marking we all become human beings on the level with one another. |

|
Feeling the wind dance on my body is very stimulating and erotic to me. |
