 The Leslie-Lohman Gay Art Foundation

The Leslie-Lohman Gay Art Foundation was the first gay gallery in New York City, and is just about the only one that has survived more than a few years. They represent the work of dozens of artists of the male nude, with or without a gay sensibility. The foundation is also endowed to preserve homoerotic art donated to it for scholarly or preservation purposes. James Donald Photography

This photographer has a keen eye and a sharp sense of humor. His first one-man show was called Harvard Blasphemies because it consisted of photos of Harvard students, nude, on campus! He also has a series of male nudes updating the Greek myths into the modern era (i.e., if Narcissus went to a disco, would he be looking at himself in the mirrors?).

	This famous photo by F. Holland Day is on a site describing books recently published by Twin Palms - Twelvetrees Publishers.
The city of Taormina, in Sicily, was where Wilhelm Von Gloeden took these wonderful photos on glass plates. Twin Palms - Twelvetrees has another book out about this master of the male nude.
	This famous drawing by Leonard da Vinci is #37 on a University of Minnesota site. It's also pictures 1 and 2 on the Leonardo page of the Paris WebMuseum (I had no idea that there are 2 slightly different versions of this drawing).
