On the steps, everyone gathers for a photo-op, screaming Wolverine fight songs at the tops of their lungs. I sang along and got carried away in the spirit. Yes, indeed -- Michigan's Nude Mile is the best nude mile there is! GO WOLVERINES!! GET NAKED!!

This guy certainly knows weights!

Meanwhile, back at the start line, I take off my pants and get photographed just before I start my run. The other jocks futz around for awhile, but eventually they'll follow.

"LAW LIBRARY! LAW LIBRARY!" -- shouts the crowd. And off they run, hands over head, to the library. Once inside (apparently no one with clothes is permitted to enter, except for a handful of law students who were actually trying to study), everyone climbs onto the tables and screams fight songs and clever slogans like "U of M Naked Mile is Number One!". The roar is deafening, due to the library's acoustics. Just as on the steps, I sang along.

The library crowds come and go in waves. This fellow stayed behind, trying to find someone to take his photo. We exchanged cameras and satisfied each other's needs. For documentation!
