Want your share of the money?

When I flew to Ann Arbor to "take" some pictures, I also expected to "give" something back. I'm not going to make a ton of money off these photos, but if you want your share of it, it's yours.

I'm setting aside 1/3 of the money these pages take in to give to the models who appear nude in them. Here's the math:

About 3,000 people hit the main Pen is Central page every day.
Let's assume that for 30 days there are no repeat visitors; that's a total of 90,000 pen is-consuming members of the public. Whew!
Let's assume optimistically that 1% of them drop a dime to view the page you're on. That's 900 visitors each month. (By the way, so far the percentage of paying visitors has been much smaller than this. But that may change.)
That's $90 in revenue due to your page.
Of that, $36 goes to the token bankers who collected the money, paid the fees, and suffered the deadbeats.
Of the remainder, I get $36, and models get $18.
But there are typically 15-20 photos on each page, showing a total of (let's say) 36 nude models. That works out to 50 cents each.

That's not much. But I'm deadly serious here: You want it? You got it! Everything's set up in a spreadsheet; it's easy for me to calculate how much I owe you. Just write to me at phdtop@phdtop.com and let's figure out how to verify that you really are you. (If worst comes to worst, we may have to wait until the run in 1999 when I can meet you face to face and connect your face to your name. And for you to qualify, your face and your genitals should both be recognizable in the photos.) Now don't get your hopes up -- it'll be awhile before I'm regularly earning 50 cents a month for each of you; 5 cents a month may be more like it in the meantime. We'll see how it goes. But the principle is important: we're in this together.

In the meantime, take off your clothes and relax! And thanks for having the courage to do the right thing -- the naked thing.
