Here are a few places you can look for more information about Andrew. We begin with two printed sources which are not on the web, then move on to electronic newspaper archives and Internet pages.

Non-Internet sources

• There's a brief story and one photograph of Andrew on page 120 of the October 1993 issue of Playboy. It's a great photo, but from the rear.
• There's a medium-length interview and one or two photographs of Andrew in Playgirl: we've got this one somewhere but haven't found it yet.
• There is an extensive interview, with many excellent photos, in N Magazine (also called Nude and Natural), published by the Naturist Society. You can order this back issue (volume 12, number 2) in the Skinny Dipper Shop.

Internet sources (non-newspaper)

• The Time-Warner web site (www.pathfinder.com) section called alt.culture (now apparently defunct) had a brief description of Andrew's story, including a photo of him in his minimal, two-bandana-handkerchief costume (right). This is the costume he wore to classes once nudity was outlawed on campus.
• There was a brief mention of two of Andrew's nude-demonstration friends (arrested for walking topless in Berkeley parks) in the 28 October 1996 issue of AM News Abuse. Apparently that publication has disappeared.
• There's a wicked parody of the UC Berkeley admissions application which mentions The Naked Guy. We've copied the original parody to our site in case it disappears soon (it's a student site).
• The Usenet newsgroup alt.fan.naked-guy is devoted to Martinez -- well, it's supposed to be devoted to him. However, the last time we looked, every message posted to that group was spam, and had nothing to do with Andrew at all. Every now and then you might be able to find a real message there, however.

Internet Newspaper Archives
