	Andrew Martinez, 1993 (Noah Berger). University of California at Berkeley junior--real name Andrew Martinez (b. circa 1973)--who became a national news story in November 1992, when he was suspended for attending class sporting only a pair of sandals. The six-foot-four Martinez, who had staged a "nude-in" with more than 20 other people in September 1992, was unrepentant; he was later expelled for his refusal to don apparel. "I don't want to facilitate the power structure with my conformity," he told the Los Angeles Times.
