F Free enlargement This is a free enlargement of the thumbnail -- about 3 inches long (depends on monitor settings). Suitable to see the general details, it is not particularly attractive when printed, due to the low resolution of the file.	S Subscribers' view This is a much bigger enlargement -- about 5-6 inches long. Free for Pen-is Central subscribers. Sales pitch Sign up When printed at 72 or 75 dpi it produces a print the same size as the master copy, but lacking some detail. Subscribers' views and Master files are protected by DigiMarc watermark technology.	$$ Master files This is the one from which all the others are generated -- in each direction 4 times as big as the Members' view (16 times as many pixels)! The TIFF master file (over 4 megabytes) is several times the size of the JPG master file (well under 1 megabyte). When printed at 600 dpi (double its scanning resolution of 300 dpi), it produces a print suitable for framing. An economical choice if you would enjoy a framed copy but do not wish to purchase the limited edition photographic print.
Both the F and the S views are good ways to decide if you wish to purchase the Master File or an actual photographic print.
