This page is done for, frankly. I don't know what it has to do with male nudism, but it does show that we have a lot of fun!

Fashion Show

What's this -- a fashion show at a nudist gathering?

Darling, anything is possible at a nudist gathering -- even wearing clothes. This year once again, the fashionable House of Byron (that's pronounced "bye-RONE" for those of you who don't know French, cough cough) provided the clothes, IMEN provided the models, and the fabulous Madame Helga Krakowski -- of the Polish Institute of Fashion -- provided the commentary.

Helga's comments were brilliant, as would be expected for a grande dame of her character, but unfortunately were not recorded live. Her notes have generously been provided to me by stevenaked@aol.com, her agent in New York.

It took a moment's intervention by Nick to fix the sound system -- an essential tool for every fashion statement!

Denise Rod-Man
With sequined serpentine shoulders -- a perfect cross between Dennis Rodman and Sinead O'Connor.

Janet Reno
She's here investigating a rumor that we're really a group of Branch Davidians. Now that that rumor has been dispelled, she's wearing this dress says "No nonsense, I mean business" -- and her flirty hat says "I have a date with Jim Lewis."

Gladys Gladiator
Inspired by the glory of Rome and the fashions from the recent movie "Gladiator." It's an ouftit that makes the the crowd roar: "Thumbs up!"

Mij
A black number with butterfly sleeves. It insists: "Float like a butterfly, sting like a WASP."

Joanne
Black shirtwaist, spectator pumps. This is a dress for lunch at Lutece... or the funeral of a family friend.

Angel
Pretty in pink, and stunning in studs -- an outfit that screams, "I am NOT one of Charlie's Angels!"

Sylvia
Royal -- regal in red, inspired by the grand drapes of an Opera House. "Curtain up!" Let's hope Sylvia doesn't take after opera heroines Mimi and Violetta -- and die of consumption.

Karesse
Wearing a gold, cross-your-heart, matching gold turban with hunter green. Worth her weight in gold -- which in her case is worth about $1.95, or 67 zlotys.

Hazel
Puts the "cock" back in "cocktail dress" -- accessorized with stemware.

Betty
An outfit which is a tribute to the Emerald City of Oz. As she walks down the runway, she's off to see the Wizard.

Miss Carry
A demure lace top, full black crisp taffeta skirt, with a silver lampshade hat which looks as if it could double as an abortionist's tool.

Giselle
Graceful as a ballerina, in a black sheath dress with orchid accessories.

Florida Rose
Black pleats, dotted top, purple hat -- truly fashion for the retirement set. Label queens will appreciate the Chanel scarf!

Fynalnet Funicello
Fynalnet and her hat are thunderstruck! It's a dress we call: "Tango Argentina."

Norma Jean
In a smart traveling outfit: black and white with grey hat -- take it across the U.S. or abroad. Goodbye, Norma Jean!

Jackie Off
Our own Miss Jackie O., in buttercup satin with a bow, and a black ottoman cape. Truly the First Lady of the House of Byron!

Gina
Pretty as a picture, in dramatic lace sleeves -- and a natural blonde!

[Sorry, no photo]

Daphne Raven Birdsong
Black velvet and double-breasted, Daphne hails from the south. Her hobbies are birdwatching and piano.

Pussy Buffet
A dramatic dinner dress with off the shoulder drapery. The buffet is open! Dinner is served; come and get some Pussy.

Christina Dior
Black velvet, New Look Christina Dior chapeau with lace net and dead crow.

Louise Red Velvet
Louise looks lovely in her spaghetti-strap, Tanya Harding-inspired, skating-on-thin-ice number. Accessorized by a gold lamé tire iron suitable for breaking hearts... or kneecaps.

Fifi
In an eye-catching silver top and black skirt.

Luci Gucci
A multicolor, strapless with matching pumps -- an outfit for when too much color is not enough!

Marilyn Merlot
With a handkerchief hem and rich wine color comes Marilyn Merlot: "Life is truly a Cabernet" -- wouldn't you like to get drunk with her beauty?

Madame Pitou
Quite a vision in red and silver. The Finale Ultimo: a glimpse of the future, a salute to the past.

The models take a final walk -- -- then leave the stage.
