Can you believe I've actually gotten e-mail from someone who seems to think that this picture is some sort of bizarre gay bondage ritual???! It's true! (About the e-mail, I mean, not the ritual.) In fact, it's just an innocent little magic trick with ropes, which I first learned when I was 8 years old. (Of course, back then I did it with my clothes on.) First you loop the rope over the left arm, just like this. Now you see there's a left-hand loop and a right-hand loop. Just put it through the left-hand loop, and....
