What can you say about a wonderful fair where it rained?

3 guys at entrance to fair, with warning sign Bleccccch! That's what you can say! Especially if you walked around naked!

These guys didn't -- they wore their leathers, since Folsom Street is the anti-twink, pro-leather-look part of San Francisco. Whips and chains are welcome here -- and neatly printed signs at the entrances warn you that you're entering an adult entertainment festival.

Boy scout? Which is not to imply that you might not run into a Boy Scout or two. Well, he looked like a Boy Scout, but he had added a pair of leather chaps to the uniform -- and he was from troop 69. That might have been the giveaway right there, come to think of it. I wonder if he could show us some of the knots he's learned!

It's already a tradition at Folsom Street Fair for a few hardy individuals to walk around buck naked. But in the rain??? It took real guts to stick to our nudist principles that day!

But we did, through mist and rain, drizzle and (a half hour of) sun. I even brought along $50 in one-dollar bills to give out to any pen ises I saw during the festival. And see them I did -- a few, anyway.

I went to Folsom Street right after marching nude in the "As Berkeley As You Can Be" parade earlier in the day. A guy I've now photographed in two different cities, nude in public, had driven from the east coast all the way out to California -- just for the chance to walk around naked! Along with him was his friend Marvin from Toronto. Once we got to Folsom, the three of us stripped naked and enjoyed ourselves as the scenery.

We ran into a couple of kindred spirits who did the same. This is the story of our afternoon. Next year, pray for better weather -- and join us!

S	This is the three of us near the beginning of our visit. Marvin is the gentleman with the mohawk.
S S		Here was our first recruit. He had a flimsy covering over his pen is until he ran into us.
S	Here we are again, with a couple of friends.
S S S		I took my $50 and started asking guys if they'd drop their pants for my website. Although I was much more successful a week later, I did get a few guys on Folsom to do it.
S S	This handsome gent had a see-through chain mail outfit which left little to the imagination.

S S S		One of the leather clubs was selling public spankings (for charity!). Marvin bit. Ouch. Ouch!
At this booth, shoe-shines and other personal services were available. As you can see, both the bootblack and the customer got excited by the high quality of the -- uh -- services performed. For some reason, this attracted a crowd. I guess people know quality when they see it!	S S	S S
	S S	Someone's appearance in these photos is not evidence of their sexual orientation -- or even whether they're a nudist! These are just people I saw at the festival.
