The CMEN west coast gathering ended Tuesday in the beautiful Malibu mountains just north of Los Angeles. The schedule and a few photos from this brand-new gathering are now available on this site. Hundreds more photos are being processed and will appear soon. This Gathering was the first successful "colonization" of the west coast from the east coast's wonderful traditions of nude gay male camping in a rural but comfortable setting. It elected a "Mr. West Coast Gathering", a Mr. Leather and Best Buns, a nude disco, a nude "dirty dancing" party (woo hoo -- thanks, Jeff and everybody!). We walked on ropes strung 20 feet overhead, played bingo, interviewed several new Dicks of the Week, and slept in the comfort of near motel-quality lodgings (extra cost). Plenty of high-volume outdoor heaters were all over camp, but we barely needed them since the weather was toasty. We adhere strictly to our Code of Ethics. Subscribers: Enter NewsPix here. About 200 men came to this first-time event (7 to 12 October) -- some from as far away as Florida, Toronto, and the U.K. It was so successful that 65 campers have already put down a deposit for next year! Since the camp capacity is only 250 or so, you may want to join them and sign up now at a reduced rate. The year 2000 gathering has been moved a month earlier -- 12 to 19 September. Toronto is Naked!
