Here we are at the beginning, after stripping but before the parade began.

Needless to say, someone's appearance in any of these photos does not constitute evidence of their sexual orientation -- or even whether they're a nudist! These are just people I saw in the parade.

We passed out fake X•Plicit clothing tags to onlookers.

Kids always love a parade.

Grownups do, too!

This young woman
even showed us some

Here's our Toronto friend (with the mohawk and the triangular tattoo) marching next to the bearded bicyclist.

These two fellows got inspired by our example and stripped off to join us parkway through the parade.

Notice it's a tie-dye shirt in the second photo.

Here's the bicyclist riding around in triumph.

What a wonderful feeling!

This fellow with the chainsaw is supposedly a member of the anti-vegetarian group PETA -- "People Eatin' Those Animals".

If you check out the nude photos, you'll see the expression on his face when he sees the naked contingent: He broke into a big smile, revved his chainsaw, and shouted, "WIENERS!"

Photographers loved us.

Berkeley City Hall (or whatever) stands in mute tribute to those who removed their clothes.

But sooner or later, even the most dedicated nudists have to put their clothes back on. Sigh.

I sure wished this fellow had taken off his pants!!
