As San Francisco gears up for
Sunday's Bay to Breakers race, it's time to think
about why this venerable tradition is so accepting
of nude runners.
Admittedly, they're not a big
percentage -- perhaps 150 out of a total of 40,000
or more -- but they always get a disproportionate
share of the publicity. And why?
