They're off and running!

This is the infamous long, sloping hill which breaks the spirit of many of the participants in the race. It's not all that steep, but it's very long. A real test of endurance.

And down the hill on the other side. Whew! Notice the nudity of the two yellow-capped walkers.

Let me repeat: someone's appearance in any of these photos does not constitute evidence of their sexual orientation -- or even whether they're a nudist! These are just people I saw in the event.

Buns, buns, buns -- that's all you'll ever see if you don't walk fast enough!

Like I said, buns buns buns! Every overpass is super-crowded with people trying to get a good look.

The body-stocking ladies walked with us for awhile.

Cranes are placed at strategic points along the route, and you get the opportunity to purchase photos of yourself in the event.

We've entered Golden Gate Park and are coming up on another overhead photographers' crane.

Now why can't these photographers be nude, too?

Hey, dudes -- march naked! It's a chick magnet! They'll all want to take your photo!

NOTE: This is a flip comment, not to be taken seriously. The sponsor of the nude part of the event wants it to remain a serious demonstration of nude living principles and values. We agree wholeheartedly -- but do like to crack a joke every now and then.

But wait! There's more!
